Christie Jenkins and her group got into a red-hot bite and had 14 striped bass with 3 in the slot (one of those pictured here) and another 4 over the slot. The birds gave away a huge pile of bass on one of the many high pieces. All of the action was on light spinning tackle. The best bite continues to be no more than 15 minutes from the dock.
This by far the best start to the striper season in the last years! The fish have been everywhere.
