Sometimes you leave the dock and the morning feels “fishy”: you just know everything is perfect for an excellent trip. That was Saturday morning, without a doubt. Craig, Lincoln and Alli hopped on board with Capt Joby and proceeded to enjoy an absolutely savage bite of bass mixed with blufish for over 3 hours! While fresh cut bait managed to pull a few fish, live bunker was definitely the key to enticing the often finicky stripers. The trio managed over a dozen bass, all over the slot with the biggest weighing in at 23 pounds. And as far as bluefish, they still remain extremely large and aggressive, all falling within the 10 to 15 pound range.
