The body of fish that we now have in the Western Sound is undoubtably one of the most spectacular we have seen in a very long time. The bass are consistantly in or above the slot, we have not measured a short fish in over 2 weeks. Right now is the perfect time for anglers of any skill level to come out and hone their skills.
Saturday’s trip with Capt Joby was no exception! Angelo B and his crew were amazed at the non-stop action that was only a 4 minute boat ride from the dock. After landing their limit in less than 30 minutes, the guys caught and released well over 20 additional bass up to 25 pounds and countless bluefish up to 14 pounds.
