On their visit from Texas to the Big Apple, Darrin, Kristin, Miranda and Autumn braved the unsettled weather for an evening trip with Capt Joby. In a matter of minutes of the boat anchoring up, Autumn hooked into her first of 5 stripers of the night. For the hours that followed, the group managed a total of 12 bass and an equal number of huge bluefish- all on live bunker. To cap off the night, Darrin put on a textbook performance of how to land a giant- a 48 inch, 40 plus pound beast of a bass. Not everything is bigger in Texas!
