Holiday weekend boat traffic and unsettled weather didn’t hold back the fish from giving Noel, Angelo and Forrest an absolute stellar trip! The trio managed to hook up with a handful of bluefish to 10 pounds, as well as 8 quality stripers to 21 pounds.
While to bite started off a little slow, Capt Joby knew that at the top of the tide, the bass would come alive on one of his local spots.
Again, live bunker were the ticket to entice the often finicky stripers. As the summer continues, it looks as though there will be a solid bite with quality fish coming over the rails.
