13 Jul Stripers at the Statue!
What an AMAZING trip! Rob, Sean, Kate and Shawn booked a NYC tour with Capt Joby, and wanted to do a little fishing in the Sound before the tour. The group managed to land four beautiful stripers to 22 pounds in about an hour’s time! What followed, was a leisurely ride down the East River to admire NYC from the water. PRO TIP: If the Capt asks you if you’d like to catch a striper and have your picture taken in front of the Statue of Liberty, always say yes. Before heading for home, the group picked 3 more bass, and got some wonderful pics with the Statue in the background.
