29 May Week of May 20 – The Bunker Have Arrived

This week, massive amounts of bunker had finally arrived in the Western Sound. We thought last year’s spring run was great, but this year’s is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! On every trip this week, at all of our spring spots, we ran into huge schools of striped bass blasting bait on the surface. Live bait and trolling did the trick to entice fish up to 22 pounds, including too many slot fish to count. The bite over the next few weeks should only get hotter and hotter as we get into June!
