After a short hiatus for some scheduled mid-season maintenance, we got right back into some incredible fishing, doing what we do best: STRIPED BASS BEATDOWN!!! Rob Hecht and his crew for the second year in a row took a city tour with Captain Joby, and decided to try their luck at one of the captain’s favorite spots in the East River. From the first drift to the last, the group managed to finesse too many bass to count. With the huge amount of bait flowing up and down the river, it looks like we should have steady bass action right through the fall season.
