The fall trips are what Long Island Fishing Charters is so famous for! Once the migration starts, the bite just keeps on getting better and better.
However, some days are simply amazing and it doesn’t much better than this. Light wind, sunny skies, and hungry fish! Erik Sr, Erik Jr and Ryan hopped on board with Capt Joby for an absolutely stellar morning trip, landing well over 30 bass and bluefish only 5 minutes from the dock! While the size of the bass varied from schoolie to just keeper sized, the bluefish were all choppers from 10 to 14 pounds. The most consistent action came from trolling swim shads around the extensive pods of bait in the Bay, resulting in numerous double headers.
