The striper season is open and the striped bass are available in the biggest numbers we have seen in many years! Though Jai and his family did not have the best possible conditions, there were plenty of fish. The strong northerly breeze combined with the low tide should have made it very difficult. However, Captain Joby had no problem finding fish and getting them to eat. They had 8 striped bass including one in the slot, three over the slot, and four just under the slot.
