08 Jun Incredible Striper Fishing for the First Week of June!
As predicted, the June bite has been absolutely incredible. While live lining bunker has been the most effective method, we have seen quite a few quality fish taken on top water artificial baits. With the water temps being a bit low for this time of year, there is a good chance that the stripers will be around well into the summer months.
You never need to worry about spending your valuable fishing time helping us get bait (unless you really want to)! We catch our bait the day before and having it in the boat and ready to go at when you climb aboard.
Nearly all of the fish have been well over the slot limit. Most of the fish are over 20lbs and quite a few have been over 30lbs. However, we have seen quite a few slot fish mixed in the last few days.
